Frequenty Asked Questions

Q. If I do purchase a new set of hearing aids and don't like them what can I do?
A. All of our products contain at least a 30 day trial period. We do ask for money down, but if you choose to return the hearing aids we will give you a full refund.

Q. My relative lives in a nursing home and wears hearing aids. What are our options?
A.
Call ahead to set up a nursing home appointment. Or, if living in your home and are unable to travel, home call appointments can be set.

Q. Is there any way to prepare myself for a hearing test?
A. Yes! It is very important that you do not have a lot of wax in your ear canals. If your hearing loss seemed sudden, then your best bet would be to have your doctor look to see if you have an ear infection, or wax impacted in your ear canals, or another medical condition. If your family member is in a nursing home, it is best to have the nurses check for wax impaction before calling for a hearing test. We cannot do a test if the ears are impacted. So, in some cases, you may not have a hearing loss. It may only be wax.

Q. What is the Best hearing aid on the market?
A. There is no one hearing aid that is best for everyone. The only way to determine which hearing aid is best for you is to schedule an appointment with a hearing professional for a hearing test.

Q. How much are your Hearing aids?
A. The price of hearing aids is determined by the style, technology, and the amount of hearing loss. Once the hearing professional has done an evaluation, he/she can advise what would be best for you and discuss an exact price. As a rule, hearing aids range in price from $3,000.00 for the latest technology to as low as $300.00.

Q. What if I have another brand, and I want to get it cleaned or repaired? Can you help me?
A. Yes, we can clean and analyze any hearing aids in our offices. If it needs repairs that we cannot do in the office, we send the aids in to an all-make repair lab.

Q. If my hearing aid needs sent in, how long will I be without it?
A. Most repairs that have to be sent in to an all-make repair lap takes about a week. There is an option to pay an extra $30.00 to have it back in two to three days.

Client Testimonial
"Thank God for the advancing technology in hearing aides. At approximately age 30 I began to notice a hearing loss that got progressively worse each year. With the continuing improvements in hearing aides, I can hear almost normal now. Yes, I swallowed my pride when I began to wear the aides, but I put my trust in the Findlay Hearing Aid Center, and am only sorry I did not do it sooner." - Darlene Tebbe
